Creating an account

Before you begin

Harumi doesn't have open self-serve registration — you'll need a signup code from whoever invited you, along with your email address.

New to Harumi: go to Create an account (app.harumi.io/auth/register) and enter your email and the signup code.

Already have an account: use Sign in instead (app.harumi.io/auth/login) and enter just your email — sign-in is passwordless, so there's no password to remember. Either path sends you to the same next step.

Check your inbox

Harumi emails a 6-digit code. Enter it to continue. If it doesn't arrive, click Resend on the same page to have another sent.

Tell us about yourself

First-time sign-ups land on a one-time profile step — first name, last name, and an optional bio. Fill it in once and it's skipped automatically after that, so signing back in later goes straight to your projects home.

Say what you want to improve

Right after, first-time sign-ups see a one-time welcome step. Pick what you want to improve (staff schedules and shifts, delivery routes, production plans, prices and revenue, or something else), describe the problem in a few sentences in your own words, and optionally add a spreadsheet or data file (CSV, Excel, JSON or Parquet; up to five files, 50 MB each). Click Start my project.

Harumi creates a blank project, uploads your files, and opens its Checklist tab with the assistant already working: it builds the project's checklist and tells you the first step. Click Not now to skip the welcome step and go to your projects home. You only see it once.

Your projects home

You land on /projects: a Workspaces tab (your personal workspace plus any organization you belong to, each showing its project count) and a Trash tab for deleted projects. New project in the top right lets you choose which workspace a new project belongs to. An account with no projects yet sees a Start here card that opens the welcome step.

Two-factor authentication

Signing in is passwordless, so Harumi lets you add a second factor: a 6-digit code from an authenticator app such as 1Password, Authy or Google Authenticator. It protects the actions that hand out standing access or can't be undone:

creating, editing and rotating API keys
saving or removing a key under Settings → Your models
deleting your account, or deleting or transferring an organization
changing an organization's two-factor policy

Open Settings → My Account and find Two-factor authentication.

Click Turn on, scan the QR code with your authenticator app (or enter the key shown beside it), and type the 6-digit code it shows.

Click Confirm and turn on. The card now reads On.

You don't have to turn it on ahead of time: the first time you do something that needs it, Harumi asks for a code, or walks you through setting it up, and then carries on with what you were doing. To remove it, click Turn off on the same card and enter a current code.
